Yas Esfandiari

Persian Hues, Contemporary Heart.

I’m Yas, an Iranian-Canadian, self-taught abstract artist based in Toronto. Rooted in my heritage, my work is inspired by the colors, textures, and symbolism of Persian culture. I often work with hues of blue and turquoise—tones cherished in ancient Iran as symbols of protection, healing, and spiritual harmony.

Art is a journey—one that captures emotions, stories, and the beauty of life’s ever-changing moments. Through bold abstraction and expressive textures, I explore the layered meanings of identity, culture, and belonging. For me, abstract art is more than visual—it’s a language of self-expression and a reflection of the unseen.
